All courses are designed with fun, safety, big landscapes, and historical significance in mind. They’re all well marked and marshalled for a seamless experience on race day. These are the roads we take to every weekend. We traverse lands formed by retreating seas millions of years ago, stumbling across seashells and trilobite fossils embedded in the soft sandstone. Lands once inhabited by dinosaurs, then early man who left behind evidence of their presence buried at places like Signal Butte on the western end of the routes. Lands which more recently were roamed by indigenous nomads, transited by trappers of the 19th century fur trade, traversed by pioneers, and administered by early cowboys. The bike is the absolute best way to immerse yourself in this history as you pedal along the same paths created by these people so long ago. Please respect the rules of the road and all private property signage if you visit or ride these routes outside of race day!
